Bobby’s City Tours was founded in 2024 and strives to offer unique experiences within the NYC metro area and beyond. In the city, the focus is on tours of the Bronx- an area that deserves our attention. In the Bronx, clients are not on “hood” tours, but get to experience what makes the Bronx great: it’s culture and it’s people. Outside of NYC, the focus is on the natural beauty and history of areas such as the Hudson Valley- without breaking the bank. We are firmly committed to sustainable tourism. We make use of public transport as it is environmentally friendly, keeps prices low, and is usually just as quick (and more reliable) than private transfers and coach buses.

Hi! I’m Bobby. I am a licensed New York City tour guide. I have lived and worked in the New York City area my entire life. Some interesting things about me:

– I understand and can speak a little bit of Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, and Italian (my tours are only in English unfortunately at the moment)

– I am an amateur pipe organist and can also play the harmonica and tin whistle

– I am an education professional

– I have two masters degrees: one in education and the other in international security affairs

– I worked for years at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and have given tours there to presidential candidates, senators, and even the interior minister of Iran (go figure!)

– I have been to over 25 countries and have been to Oktoberfest twice

– I live with my wife and our two cats
